ive got a question about UPS

ok this is like the first time ive used a proper courier.I just sent a whole load of paintball gear to a guy up in scotland,however the thing is the guys was like whats in it and stuff and i was lke oh just some paintball gear and a marker.He was like well if its like a gun then it could be possibly sent back because it could get x-rayed.

do u think it could get sent back i mean the barrel is off the gun and stuff so its just the main part of the ion.

We use couriers all the time to ship markers etc to customers or to suppliers for work to be carried.

We only declare it as sporting goods and not ONE has come back!

I only got stopped by Armed Police once when I drove through DF crossing and the lovely lady in the booth saw my paintball gun on the back seat of my pick up and thought it was a real gun!

But for the rest...no problems shipping paintball gear...saver then having it in your car!

i work for ups and only stuff goin abroad goes through x ray
since 9-11

we dont carry guns thou or any ammunition

sporting goods are fine if you split it down(gun cant be used without air)
we used to deliver planet eclipse stuff all the time
and i no guns where shipped out

probably just a new boy reading to much into the rules

When asked what the contents are simply reply with: 'paintball marker'. Try to avoid 'gun' When presented with marker it will most probably go in one ear and out the other. When you say gun alarm bells immediately sound. Also if he starts to go on a one, just down play it with small talk or tell him safety precautions have been taken and he should stop being so wet... okay maybe not the last bit.

FK UPS ain't we got enough trouble with the good ole Post Orifice.
Never had an issue with UPS,theres loads of couriers on the net fighting for our business..
Whilst I'm fighting for a lost postal order in a recorded delivery letter(belt and braces)...no matter their fraud squad are wannabe coppers,they take it seriously,so it'll soon be sorted...I hope
