every team plays eachother atleast once depending how many teams are down, then after the tourney just a few random games to have a giggle

The last one had 6. The two before that had 9 teams, just depnds how many people turn up and how quick everyone plays/kits up.

Does any one know why its is called "Etek" tournament or is it just a name

you could say that but ego would have been a better name as it is the main marker

I'm definately speculating here, but wouldn't it be because a newbie would be more likely to purchase the lesser priced Etek than a new Ego? (unless they were going second hand route of course). Thus it makes more sense for a newbie-specific tourney to be sponsered with the Etek brand.
