hi anyone out there that knows the good and bad things about the jt goggles that you can change the frames on and what are they called

Not exactly sure what you mean here? you can change the frames on Proflex and Flex masks (flex 7 and 8). As for good and bad things thats even harder...good they protect your eyes and are light and easily customisable, bad....erm changing the lens can be fiddly at first
get a flex-7, brilliant masks, all the frames/faceplates/ear protectors/straps are interchangable. you cant however switch stuff apart from straps between a flex-7 and flex-8
Been using flex-7's for years, good vision, no problems in my experience, and the first time you get a ball bounce off your face-plate is brilliant. That said, I would strongly advise against the flex-8's - my team-mate has one, not flexible like the flex-7's, more like an old spectra. Not impressed at all.

not quite so true, everything on the flex 8 can be used on the flex 7's - it basically just changes the face plate. lenses can be used on both cos the frames are the same, oh and that means the frames can be changed between the 2 so i dunno what you cant switch. thats the reason they were desgined like that
the main body shell of the flex 8 is hard but the grill bits are softish and due to the profile bounces do occur - i have had several.
flex 7's yes you might get bounces, but cos they are so flexible, the flex can come back and hit you in the face, no bad thing but the shell etc has split my lip several times.

AGREED! I've suffered a couple of thick lips from it, but I still think the Flex 7 is a cool mask for the price. As for changing the lenses, once you know how to, it's a doddle - my advise is don't be scared to be a bit rough when you're changing them.
