Where in the manual does it say to use honey mixed with water to make it slick?Where in the manual does it say don't use honey as a lubricant?

when i first started playing, I had a spyder victor the non elecy ones.
I played before going in to work (tgi fridays) took all my kit into work stated work it got quiet with no tickets coming in.
i sat in the staff room and started cleaning my gear.
The dish guy came in and then a order came on so the dish guy said don't worry i will finish cleaning it.
any way i came back about 20 minutes later asked the guy where the gun was he said its on there nice and shinny.
any way looked at it and said what did you do to it to make it so clean.
He said back to me that he stuck it through the dishwasher.
and it still worked.

he emailed me a few weeks later and said "i really need your help"
"I have tried every thing to get my barrel off i have had it in very hot water, used a vice and a spanner every thing"
The barrel is now buggered what can i do??
so i asked him if he had tried turning the barrel the other way to get it off because it was a shaft barrel.
he said no and then emailed me back to say than you he got it off now.

i wasn't there but ian (lovetone) told me that at the site one day that some guy who had been playing for a bit had been complaining that he was smashing paint all day and couldn't work out why??
Ian had a look at his gun i told him he should try sticking the bolt the right way.

was there not a kid in the states who dropped his timmy in the bath to see where the leak was coming from?
Probably some of it can be attributed to the Newbie section having newbies dishing out poor advice to newbies. You know you've read theHow the hell can someone be that stupid?!!??

Gilly from K2 was playing a Bully's event with an EBlade, and the bolt pin fell out. So he pulled the trigger and the bolt flew out the back of the gun. He pulled the trigger again and the ball came out of the back and gogged him. True story.

i got my ego 06 played with it and thought "best keep this clean"
took it home cleaned it. took it to bits to clean it...threw away the stupid bits of rubber protecting the paint under the eye covers.....
got to nq started playing...couldn't figure out why i was smashing paint....
those stupid little rubber things are of course the ball detents....
