i reaqd jt manual and says if your shot on the lense from under 10 feet away you have to replace the lense. so if u get mugged it becomes exspensive. do you have to change the lenses if it happens
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

best to be on the safe side. ok a lense isn't cheap, but how often do you get shot on the lense from a mugging?? it is usually in the back or on the body.

try looking for replacement eyes. bet they are more expensive than a lens...... ;)

Solution: Don't get mugged. :D

As Dusty said, if you're going to play safe, get replacements. If you're going to play extreme, don't change your lense and have a nasty shock...

it's JT doing the sensible thing to prevent court cases.
If they didn't write that on their products, someone's lense would break at that crucial time, and JT would get it in the neck.

It's you're own choice, i'm just explaining why it says what it says.

Yes indeedy, all lense/mask manufacturers say the same thing to save themselves from court cases.

Me neither, but I will add that I used the same dye invision lense for at least 3 years playing and reffing, and had a few scratches, yes, but no cracks.
It's up to you when to change them. If you're using a single pane lense, maybe you should be slightly more careful though.
