WDP used to get hammered by all and sundry for releasing 2 guns a year, now most other manufacturers do the same (Planet usually release more than 2 a year these days) yet no one goes off on one about it. Strange that.

I personally find it a little tiresome that a new model HAS to come out every year, when in fact most of the time it's just a slightly modified version of the old. If a manufacturer REALLY has something new then give it a new name and release it, doesn't have to be an annual event. If they've done a new version of the old (milling, paint jobs etc) then by all means release it, but release it at roughly the same price as the current one and stop mugging us off claiming it to be a all new singing and dancing version.

Oops, that turned into a bit of a rant, didn't mean to be.

Awesome!!! :D:D:D

I am scared to admit it on here but I do agree mate. Maybe theres slightly more to it than what you have described there, and for what its worth I do know that the folks behind these incredible peices of equipment do work EXTREMELY hard. But I do think that the current onslaught of releases is excessive, especially when the current trend of PL's is nothing more than a sassy anno job. People call SP but in terms of heavy sponsorships, I respect their approach to PL gats.
