yes, but American tanks arent, also its best to buy in the uk as import tax may have you and hurt you with some thing big and blunt
It's legal as long as you only have semi selected, (1 pull 1 shot).
Some tournements will allow ramping but as a legal requirment, semi will only be allowed on walkon sites....Check with your site operator before getting banned from the site

Sounds a tiny bit dodgy to me mate. Doesnt sound like how an official dye dealer would do business.
Of course if he's on the level then great. But I wouldnt send cash up front....
Also marking it as a gift doesnt guarantee no taxes (im sure someone will be able to fill in the details).

UK shops are a greedy buisness that all pee in the same pot to keep us paying high prices. I can't fault anyone that buys abroard and can get away with it as I have done on a few occasions.
eg:- Karni over here...£1000 roughly
US around $600....£300

while i agree that the paintball industry here in the uk is a fledgling one that needs to be surported i also understand that people are loyal to their wallets first and their local pro-shop second.
