There is also the other gun for just a little more with all the bits and bobs, bottle etc etc. I presume he is also quite new to this like myself and is looking for something to get started, from reading various posts both on here and other forums what tends to happen is the guys who has been doing this along time and the really good players choose the bps just about evertime, i came to the conclusion; as a newbie am never going to be able to hit 15bps straight away ... dowt it very much... it will take time and practice to get anwhere close. So what i decided was ... will you want to play sup air or any kinda comps, or plain and simply just walk on days and stuff with your friends. Run before you can walk comes to mind, so i decided if am just going to play walk ons with friends etc and the odd time recball comps then bps were not half as much value as the "look good" factor.
Have a look at both guns see what you think looks the nicest and possible future upgradability (look at costs of upgrades to), also check to see what prices are like when / if something goes wrong with them, read a review or 2 to see if there has been alot of problems etc (google was sent by the godz in my opinion) then choose
Its good to ask the pros like these guys coz they know both guns well etc but what they 'would want' and what you need maybe very diffrent.
Hope this helps a little (for the record there are good and bad reviews of both of these guns all over the net)
