Wednesday 3rd October Review

I suppose sooner or later I'd have to do a full review, so here it is:

Northern Star Paintball Academy, held their 3rd "Three Man Tournament" on the 3rd October 2007;
It rained!
Is that good enough?
Do I really need to go in to the detail of:great turn out, super atmosphere, fab field setup (by you know who), quality fast and furious gameplay, live T.V coverage for the many spectators, Seven Sins Kafe, Trade Stand, wonderful marshalling plus enough space for all to be undercover (very cosy).

Here is the final standings and quick review:

1st 700pts: Universal; (Quality from start to finish, taking full advantage of an open field, broke all records for fastest games. Even the cheerleaders couldn't put them off their game, lol.)

2nd 500pts: Jakass; (These guys get better and better each week, Jak and Josh have improved beyond belief and Paul's getting younger. Expecting them to be fighting for the title next week)

3rd 325pts: DOA; (Not quite to the standard of last week, but still played some excellent games, helps if Gaz remembers to put his airbottle on correctly)

4th 300pts: ACA; (Excellent start but tailed off towards the end. Beat the Mad Monks in a third place play off, which cheered them up a bit, well sort of....)

5th 300pts: Mad Monks; (At half time really fancied their chances to finish in the top two, think the break slowed them down, excellent to watch though)

6th= 200pts: Green Machine; (Only their second time out but much improved, could be a team to watch for in the future)

6th= 200pts: Cannon Fodder; (New to the sport, but played some really good stuff, very enthusiastic, just need some training)

6th=200pts: Newbs; (First timers, but didn't really show, 2 wins, great stuff and will be back for more)

Really great to see new teams turning up. Thats what we're all about after all. So thank you and see you all on wednesday!
Cheers! NSPA

Well that is just scandalous, you have missed a review for week 2.... can only figure it was due to the lack of TV Coverage.

So pleased it's being held on the NSPA site, I feel very proud and humble.
Guys and girls get your heads together because we're looking to build as many 7/8 man teams(thats how challenging this Tourney is) as possible. Your just going to love this!:)

Call or text NSPA on: 07895 913161 to book or for info for; X ball Lite, Wednesday night 3 man tourney or Training sessions.

Tinkering ain’t easy
Me thinks the webby genius (and I dont mean spider man) has somethng up his sleeve......We wait with baited breath.

Just a quick heads up guys, there will be a training session on Tuesday 16th October in preparation for the X-Ball event on the 21st. Hopefully Geordie Andy will sort the field design out for training so we get an early bash at it :D
