95% sure this is in the UKPSFs guide lines that you should discourage head shots, you know the UKPSF right? Our sort of 'governing body'

yes, so to discourage headshots, you tell someone they dont count, meaning no matter how many times someone gets shot in the head, it is for nothing, that has always seemed dangerous to me, i think it is safer to get shot once in the head than several times. I understand why playing no headshots is a good thing, people are less likely to shoot at the head if they know it doesnt count, but what about those customers who dont care what part of the body it is, they will keep shooting untill someone pulls themselves out.

I think you're level of education is disgraceful. Selling paint at higher prices is the only way sites make their money, thus keeping them alive and fueling the sport. If every recball site sold paint to punters at retail prices (£10-25 per case) then there wouldn't be any recball sites left.

On a serious note though there is something to this argument. I know plenty of lads at work who've been paintballing on punter days (stag do's, parties etc) and when i tell them i'm into paintball they just look at me like i'm daft "how can you be into that? it's just a one off day out with the lads" is the usual reply followed by "how can you afford it? it's a fking rip off, £5 for a hundred bullets" then when I explain about walkon's and the price I pay for paint they're usually p!ssed off and totally convinced they've been ripped off.

As for tournaments and sup-air? forget it, no'one outside of paintball has even remotely heard of it.

I'm not really bothered about the price of punter paint and i accept sites need to make money to fund walkon style play, although this post may suggest i am bothered, i'm not. i'm just making a point about getting new regular players into the game, at the moment it's just word of mouth.
