supposedly, but i would of used my etek over any 06

its a simplified EGO
on paper in cold hard stats the EGO5 is " equal to or better" than an etek (apart from say, the detents), because of the LCD board mainly people love them and those magical QEVS that add a couple of BPS

however, in use the etek is great, its lighter than most egos (06 etc) the microswitch board rips and is easy to program and is cheap as chips.
