My mum says it's a hobby and not a sport, I said it's the opposite.

She keeps telling me to get a job if I want to play, I tell her it's her job to look after me.

:D They'll catch the drift eventually, my mum and dad watched me play a couple of times and were even telling me what to do :eek::D

I have the same problem, although my parents do pay towards around 2 training sessions a month, i can pay the other 1-2, therefore i get a decent amount of play now.

They have a wine at me about it, saying its a waste of time and money. My dad isnt so bad, im training with a team and have decided to start working out more/going to the gym with my dad, and that kind of made my dad feel a bit different towards it.

Although they still consider it a hobbie and not a sport, its slowly getting into there heads.

The parents really aint arsed why i play or how i pay for it.

The only thing that does worry them is the pressure in the air tank being stored in my wardrobe, apparently they 'dont want to wake up one morning to find one of my bedroom walls blown out'

after watching me play, my parents are really into it, and neither of them have ever played, but my dad just asks really weird questions like...why don't you play on stilts to look over really tall bunkers? ... i know WTF?!?
