ok sorry miss understood.

still on topic with what you said though (and please dont think im being an arse or trying to be funny because im not) wasnt it the reg that blew up. i dont think any stako has blown up as such. i know the latest problem was air leaking through the walls of the bottle but not of them actually blowing up?

From what I gathered, the reg blew up because of oil, but it ripped all the lining out the tank so it wasnt actually the tank.

Dont worry mate, i know you're not being a dick or whatever. In madrid last year it was a stako that blew up, but I think everyones agreed that was down to some retard putting oil in the regulator, not a fault of the actual bottle itself.

Since then however, there have been bottles that have just combusted not due to user error or whatever, im surprised they havent been more publicised, one of them was literally just before Campaign cup I think.

Either way, the way I see it, if there was a serious design flaw with the bottles they would have been withdrawn/banned permanently by tournaments/HPAC etc. The fact that there was a full inspection into them after Germany suggests they're not ticking time bombs. That said, I wont be rushing out to get one, I'd rather just carry a few extra grams than risk blowing my shoulder off but thats just a personal decision.

if you look at the picture lots of scratchs on the bottom of the tank looks like he has been playing agg style

yep in the pics at the bottom of the page damage to the top and the bottom of the tank he has been sliding without a cover on what else would anyone expect with out a cover on fiber wraped system
don't jump to conclusions... view all the photos and you will see the 'damage' you talk of, actually goes around the tank and is whatever part is facing the camera...

could this be due to the miracle of flash photography... i think so
