Point blank in Darlington (which is in the North) has started a series - the Super League. http://www.superleaguepaintball.com

P.S. It is not on the level of the other domesic events at the moment though, in terms of attendance and prestige. But if I was up north I'd at least give it a try. Would be nice if it could take off and provide a series for the North.
Perhaps one of the moderators could do a poll and see if there was enough people interested to start a decent tournament in the North.

If so I wonder if they want Floodlights, can offer my services, have the experience and the quals to turn night into day

Why not just contact the Superleague organisers and offer your services the web site is already posted and it has all the info you need

They already have floodlights on one of their pitches, soon to be improved on and I believe if it continues to be a success then they will have a 2nd set for the other pitch

Next tourney is Sunday 30th September and it's free entry.

We have FULLY netted pitches, white-lined, a BBQ running all day, professional refs - ie. Team KELLYS - and again... it's free entry !!

Come down if you're in the North... or nearby.
Am sure it will be the busiest one yet, some cracking guys play there. I heard a rumour that people can camp overnight is that true?

Super League

Cool, i didnt know about the super league but it does seem pretty cool. How popular is it? I mean how many teams on average attend and are there dates planned for 2008 yet?

It's building up slowly at the moment but there will be more dates in 2008.

The next event has 11 teams booked in so far - not massive but it's growing every single event. Everyone loves the set up we've got and we've just installed floodlights to make things easier.

There's one more free space left for the event on Sept 30th... if you fancy sticking a team in??

Got some exciting developments coming up for next year so watch the Super League website for updates.
