Hi Guys :)

I'm in the process of restoring a really ancient autococker (first line production), after freeing up the bolt which was corroded in place. I cleaned and ressembled the bolt and proceeded to gas the cocker up. The problem im getting is that gas is leaking from the vent hole on the regulator body.

1. The gas bottle i had was low on Co2 and ran out after 15 cycles of the bolt, so could it be a case of not having enough gas pressure ?

2. Or do i have knackered Regulator seal ?

Never owned a cocker before so any help would be much appricated, would love to get this thing back to original "Leak free" condition.

Many thanks

Hi Guys

Thanks for the replies, i know Co2 isnt ideal for it but i guess that was what it was running on back in the early 1990's, will have to get around to upgrading to air. :D

First thing tommorow ill try a full bottle and hope its just a case that theres there wasnt enough pressure ,would be nice if thats the case.

Apart from the leak on the reg everything else seems in good order which aint bad for a relic which has been in hibernation for 10 + years !

Many thanks

Mark

:D:D
Low c02 will allow leakage..:)
