ok,working on how many units sold and how long they have been on the market, and the fact they will be around forever you are all a mile off.

The winner is without doubt TIPPMANN 98 it is responsible for more people getting into various types of ball than all the rest put together. That alone makes it the best.

..and using that rationale, it would have The Sun being our best daily newspaper .... I think not !

If you wanna know what markers are best then look toward who wins things, at least this gives some flavour of performance.
Pros do use markers that they are sponsored with but not many pros would use a marker that predestines them to lose...well one team did but hey, that's another story and my lips are sealed.
And so, the best markers (empirically at least) are, in no particular order:-

Egos, Angels and DM's and then my memory starts to slip a little but that's because I am biased ..... allegedly ........ the truth of the matter is, I wasn't but I am now
surely in that case the Shocker is the best gun.

Mooching round the 50, with the flag
Hasn't this been done on here before ????

There are too many variables to include, for instance back in the day phantom's and sterlings were top dog, moving on a few years an automag or autococker was considered the best marker you could buy. Then consider the shocker 4x4 which brought electronic markers into the tourney scene, the ion has to be in there purely on it's accessibility ad the number of players it has brought into the sport...

Just too much to consider....and everybody thinks their own marker is the best anyway.... :)
