contemplating having a play with different batterys in hoppers but just wondering what voltages they work well on and what makes them go bang!

Empire b2 takes 4/6 AA's. Thats 1.5 volts each thats 6/9 volts.
Vlocity takes to 9 volts. Thats 18 volts.

Empire B2's/Halo's also take 2 x 9V batteries, but you need to make or buy the connector yourself.
And you need to cap it down to 12V as 18V will blow it up.

and use normal (not 9.6v) batteries, then it's ok. I used this for over a year, as have people who I sold/gave these to.

Also you need to look at the amp rating as a 9V will be lower then the 6 X 1.5V (And drain quicker)
