I think the major point is the fact the ego 7 can shoot paint far more brittle than what the dm can.
Ironmen vs Xfactor game.. both teams shooting the same paint. Ironmen struggled to fire a string without a burst...xfactor had no problems.

Not much, something like 13g, probably unnoticable to most but i have skinny arms
Thats less than half an OZ.It's nothing though when you have a full hopper and air system on.
I personally find the Ego 7 very loud, especially in comparison to the DM. Naturally personal preference though it's nice to be able to hear your team mates! Get the DM you'll not be disappointed.
i didnt think that the ego7 could shoot more britle paint than the dm7, unless you have a cure bolt in your ego7....
