um, isn't that still university level, just looking at the names of the clubs?

i think your gonna struggle to find college level (sixth form), paintball clubs. if you got enough mates who wanna play why not just form a team and play in one of the UK leagues?

if we could rent out a field for a day, i could prob organise 3 colleges teams to head over and we could have a mini-tournament. It could be fun, and only help the development of the game also.

if anybody would be interested in doing something like that then check out http://www.paintballer.ie/college

booyah. aberdeen has a little 19 peice feild we have acces to and a few sup air trg bunkers. glasgow to dublin is like £20 now. so im assuming dublin to aberdeen wont be much more. want me to find out some prices...it will be less than a walkon fee pos £5-10 PP. and paint will be availible if everyone is happy qwith tomahawk.

or we can move it inside and have a reball event in a nighclub. would be 3 man though

also got plenty place to stay in the deen, so no hotels etc. I would agree it would be awesome.

Yeah, good point, i suppose it would be awesome but ya know, new term coming up and i cant get any time off work :( and my school holidays are already planned to go elsewhere.

I suppose it would be easier to enter just as a standard team, but the only problem is everyone who wants to get into it is really strapped for cash...some dont even have jobs, and half of them cant travel too far *sigh* hopefully something will work

hate to say but that dont sound like the best set up for forming a team then. why dont you just join a team your self, i know its not with your mates but you'll make mates with your team?

The problem with setting up paintball clubs at secondary schools, colleges and 6th forms is that they markers classify in their eyes as a firearm, and paintball is a violent sport and it's either a) a lot of funding to make it accesible to all, or b) an elitist sport only suitable for those with enough money to spend on it.
I tried to set a club up in my school directly and I was refused on the grounds that it promotes violence and glorifying fireamrs, which is a load of balls. I then set up a 'Strategy Club' with the pretence of teaching extra history and fun stuff like surving nuclear wars, but the teachers soon found out it was a 'recruting' ground for paintabll, so it got closed again.
So all I can do is organise games with my mates when I can outside of school and train with my team at NPF.
