Nothing to do with the myth reg in itself, it is down to the compressed air regulations in Europe.
It is possible we inadvertently been using a lot of air systems that do not meet the legal regulations (I am not saying for one second that they are unsafe - just they have not complied with European regulations to assure us that they are) we have as far as I know only two air regulator systems in Europe have been manufactured and tested to to meet the regulations one is British and the other I believe is German(not 100% sure on that).

When we receive confirmation on our understanding of the regulations a lot of people could be effected.

It's simple... Sombeody realised that the regs need to be certified the same as bottles... Two or 3 companies that make their regs in China decided to get them approved... At the same time someone began to raise a stink about the lack of certification for most currently available regs...

So we come to this moment in time... When (not if) this becomes a reality a couple people will be giggling madly while counting their money...

To Russ: I'm not saying you're in on the whole thing, in fact I believe you're not. But don't you smell the faul stench around the whole thing yourself? Anyways, let me know how it goes Russ...

I think you are confused none of the approved regs are made in china and the ones that are have met the regulations they need for the states so I am sure they are safe.
If the companies who have checked out the regs as far as Europe are concerned wanted to take advantage of it they would have done, in fact they gave all the information they had paid a fortune for freely to all the others so they could see what they had to do.

And if you "did not think I am in on the whole thing" why did you mention it !

Stink! Let me make this point very clear, if they wanted to make a stink, they could have caused all insurance companies to remove cover and nobody but a fool would have run a site (on air) or a tournament anywhere in Europe.
Unless they changed most of the regs in use, they would and could have made a fortune. they didn't because they are far above that sort of nonsense.

PS, I would of......

To be honest i don't see much happening on this front, pretty much all the equipment we use would have been tested to very high standards before production anyways, Im betting all thats gonna happen is we might see some red tape here and there, but nothing to massively effect the game,
