Putting speed feed on hybrid shell

push the lid pin out, with another pin or small object...


then push it on?

because the hybrid shell doesn't splt down the center to allow removal of the lid you need to hammer/force the pin that holds the lid out just get a nail/whatever n try to get it out,

also i found that the speed feed didn't fit as securely on my hybrid shells as standard 1s so u may need to add tape to make it a tighter fit

seriously u only need to move it like a millimeter then u can use pliers etc to grab it and pull it through

and i find some electrical tape round the edge then put the speed feed onto that tends to make it more secure, with some mofo duct tape round the outside !

I just used a spare pin from a halo/pulse....something

attached it to the end of some needle nose pliers, pushed it into the hole, so it moved the hybrid pin enough for me to put another set of pliers on the other side and yank it out....

easy as

(don't listen to 8ball, he's just a bit too weak )

Edit: people are also right about the speedfeed being a bit loose, i found putting an elastic band around the shell rim, then placing the speedfeed on top gave me a secure enough fit, without all the agg duct tape...
