Please define 'cleaning the marker'?

How does being able to fire the beast with no ball in the breach enable you to 'clean the marker'. From a safety point of view I think the opposite would be true, as you'd want the marker to be safe, i.e. off and de-gassed before you start sticking cloth's, fingers, etc in it to dislodge paint, lube and paint shells from the internals.

Don't feel bad mate becuase their are so many opposing points of view, of which some are right, some are wrong, and most are in the grey bit inbetween.

I never jump to conclusions by the way. Unless it is about ARG and his jaffa cakes.

the rebound mode would not be considered tournament legal because it kicks in at 5 bps which is also the sustain rate, when the l.e.d is rapidly flashing that means a ball has been detected in the breach and is ready to fire, Marcus Geezer you are right

for the money an Ion puts you on the map to compete on your local field with other Own gunners or Tourney beginners level (koth) straight out of the box.... although a few extra bits.. that are always coming up in the 'for sale' section can be found on these forums making upgrading a endless experience....

You said empty the air
You need the eyes off to do that thats wyh you set it to double flash
So all the guys who said it was to turn the eyes off were rite and did no it all!

you can empty the air with balls in the chamber and eyes on, if you have an on/off system that can also purge the air out of the reg so dont presume
