How difficult is it to get pre-sets re-tested?

This may be a stupid question, but am I right in saying that pre-set bottles are thread locked?
If so, how do you go about getting them retested?
Do you need to seperate the reg from the bottle before sending it for re-test?
Or will the likes of hpac etc do it for you?

or is it in fact a piece of cake to do and I'm babbling $hit!!

Most are loc-tited on now, but they will remove the reg for you at hpac, then re-lock it on when they send it back

I presume then, that if I took it to them at a tourney they would simply take payment and bottle and send it to me once done?

If I am unable to get to a tourney around the time the bottle runs out, does anyone know if they run a postal service (just in case)
