Ions unreliable??

Have you considered that fact that it might be your mates playing around with them that caused the failures. I've had two ions and both have worked fine. Only problems I've had have been easily resolved and were down to my playing around with settings and upgrades.

There a good gun to start off with (Ions) but there fragile, the plastic lets em down but u cant complain for the price they go for, if u really want to rely on an Ion u need to upgrade it, im no expert on Ions ive jus seen want happens to them, it could be the fact my mates were messin around with the Ions but they both regretted buy them

i have gone to the pmr - light, sturdy, well made, great tech help from dye europe and heaven

and now i have a shocker sft - cheap, light, shoot amazingly, virtually no kick - and great service from warped. or you could go through smartparts

Maybe they hit their Ions with an Angel IR3 ;)

For the price they are going for at the minute, I'd just get a PM5.

I have a blue to black fade alias intimidator for sale. Infamous board with all the settings, SP feedneck , and some other bits. Comes with bob long barrel.

150 squid, PM me if interested. Gun works flawlessly and has been teched regularly by Jon "tech-god" Bonich.

or, you could look at older markers, which cost the same as an ion but are in many cases superior.
for the same price as an ion you can get...... old angels, probably up to an a4 fly maybe. old timmys, don't know much about them but they cost a lot new so must have something to them. old cockers, gotta love fixing them and parts are getting hard to come by but still. old dm's , these seem to hold their value but can pick up dm3's relatively cheap. oh and cant forget old shockers. again these go for nothing.

make use of the fact that things like the ion and the pmr have ruined the second hand market and buy a stupidly cheap high end gun from 3-4 years ago!
dm3's are cheap but you can pick up a 4 or 5 for not too much more these days, plus they dont feel like your carrying a breeze block ;)
