hey for the money ur talking u might just get a new bottom end c02 mechanical marker kit. to be honest if i was u look at second hand ions pmrs etc and save a bit more ££ for good air tank and hopper then when u get further on u dont end up spending on new lighter bottle and faster hopper . good luck

As they said i'd go for a second hand Ion or PMR, id use the PMR over the Ion anyday, the Ion too plastic and too easy to break, the PMR is a sturdy gun and is excellent value for money

or, you could look at older markers, which cost the same as an ion but are in many cases superior.
for the same price as an ion you can get...... old angels, probably up to an a4 fly maybe. old timmys, don't know much about them but they cost a lot new so must have something to them. old cockers, gotta love fixing them and parts are getting hard to come by but still. old dm's , these seem to hold their value but can pick up dm3's relatively cheap. oh and cant forget old shockers. again these go for nothing.

make use of the fact that things like the ion and the pmr have ruined the second hand market and buy a stupidly cheap high end gun from 3-4 years ago!

Yerrr i supppose, an old angel would be a good idea such as the A4 Fly or the IR3, although there old markers they will most probably perform better than an Ion or a PMR, it just depends sometimes u'll find a good upped marker for a very good price u just gotta keep lookin, dont stick with your 1st choice, keep looking for a better deal but keep a good marker for sale to fall back on

yeah an old angel would be good but i think you should personally go for an ion with and egg and an air bottle. you could probably get some upgrades on it aswell
