look at his hand, will he ever recover from that?
he will be fine

seen worse working in the chipshop you will be suprised how fast hands and arms heal looks a lot worse than it is

worked with a guy who once took several of the top layers of skin of his hand with a chicken skinner and it was all well and good

how on earth are you supposed to prevent stuff like this happening? If some retard puts lube on the fill rig before you get there, what are you supposed to do? its not exactly an easy thing to spot!!

its not about spotting it

its about preventing it!

educating people about stuff instead of shop owners just going here you are that'll be £x

people give tech courses on guns

why the same isnt done in a way for air bottle i dont know.

or am i under the assumption that everyone on this board is an air smith? and certified to make repairs or adjustments to high pressure equipment?

Just a simple idea but how about putting a ""FECKIN GREAT WARNING SIGN"
at "EVERY" fill station.

I know it's a wild and radical idea, but maybe if it stops someone dying then a couple of hours effort to make a sign, might just be worth it:rolleyes:

yeah point made, but not everyone goes to the tech courses, paintball companies (and indeed nearly every company) rely on people reading their manuals for safety guidelines.

Also, alot of paintball transactions occur over the internet. getting shopkeepers to tell their customers about it doesnt help these people. even if you put warnings up on the site (as i know alot of people do) people dont tend to read them.

In summary, people are stupid. if there is any possible way that people can avoid being told not to lube the fill nipple/rig they will. The only way i can see this being sorted is if companies like HPAC speak to everyone before an event and tell them.
