does the RF chip make them much lighter?

-ChEf

Edit: probs a stupid question being as chips aint exactly heavy, but if the main gripe here is the weight..................
No. It synchronizes it with the gun, so when you pull the trigger, it loads another ball.

EDIT: The RF chip hardly adds any weight to the setup either, it's just a bit of wiring and a little black thingy thing that goes inside the grip frame.

No mate the chip goes inside your grip frame and not on the loader so the loader stays exactly the same weight. The RF chip does make the Pulse a lot better as it only activates when the trigger is pulled, rather than having it on pulse mode which eats batterys as the motoe is constantly pulsing. I have had a Pulse since they came out and have never had a problem and now I use it on my NEXUS linked with the RF it is awesome. Used it in the woods and sup-air and never had any probs at all. I do have a couple of reloaders and B2s as back up though :D

Or if you have somethin like an ego7 then you have to buy an expansion board that clips into the stock board plus your RF chip

Although i think the expansion comes with the SL74 if I'm not mistaken

think that was the problem, when they brought them out they did it without including the RF chip in the box, people then thought bollocks to this piece of siht

Without using RF mode, the pulse is ok I suppose but the wireless interface was the main hype behind it IMO You can survive on green mode i guess

Though they dont call it 'the blender' for nothing :p

Sure you can get them replaced for free but how long is the turnaround on that? a few days? a week? Not much use if it snaps in the first match at a tournament and your left without a loader for the rest of the day  [/QUOTE said:
But the same could be said if your gat or air got fecked up....
Yeah..you have back ups...but thats not the root of the problem....

feedneck basically. Why risk it when you can have a halo or a reloder that will do the job just as well and you dont have to worry about breaking it. Pulses are very similar to reloders/halos.
