I've been sniffing around the classifieds for a back up hopper for a few weeks now in the hope that a semi decent reloader or Halo B would come up for sale at a semi decent price (£55-£65):)
During this time you would not believe the amount of Pulses that have come up for sale el' cheapo! (considering the price/demand for them when they first came out) or even people that just 'want rid:eek:'

My question is quite simple.....Why is everyone trying to get shot of there Pulse?
My first opinion of them when I first saw one was that they looked to big and bulky....in fact they looked FUGLY AS!!

Is there any other reason that I should know about?

Thanks for the offers...to be fair there are plenty about, What I wanna know is why the pulse was so in demand when it first came out.....And now people are practically giving em away. I saw a thread either here or on another site where a guy had bought a Pulse brand new and was selling it after two weeks:eek:

WHY?

Thats what I wanna know....Do I milk the situation (like the when stakos where going cheap and now are back 2 normal?) or steer clear?

EDIT: heres a prime example

Hopper?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking to swap my brand new pulse for a halo b with upgraded drive or similar & cash let me know what you get hopper must be in very good condition as mine is only 2 weeks old and used once !!!

Mostly because of the shells, people overtighten them and the feedneck snaps and they don't want to have to worry about that risk. Not when they know a halo's feedneck is fine. Granted replacement shells are free, it's just people are lazy and don't want to send them off and get replacements.

If its true and the shells are free its lame:rolleyes:
I admit that it would be a pain in the a$$ to have to send off for new shells etc but surely common sense would prevail after the first set broke? especially being as though the owner would have shelled out £100+ at the start?

Is there not more to this than meets the eye or am I being over cautious?

edit: If I paid £100+ plus for a brand new loader and it had a manufacturer fault then I would send it back!
Are the shells that much weaker than a standard REloader/halo?

i dont like how they constantly try and feed when they arent synched with the gun. And they are heavy, but if you had the pulse rf chip then i can imagine it being great.

I think its mainly because of the fact that the feedneck on the pulse has a bad reptuation for snapping.

Sure you can get them replaced for free but how long is the turnaround on that? a few days? a week? Not much use if it snaps in the first match at a tournament and your left without a loader for the rest of the day

Its that idea thats putting people off the pulse and going back to a loader with a more sturdy feedneck and generally more reliable

does the RF chip make them much lighter?

Edit: probs a stupid question being as chips aint exactly heavy, but if the main gripe here is the weight..................
