I think the only way you can put a different strap on the grill is to cut the old strap between the parts where it clips to the mask and sew a new one in its place

you can get most straps on all the goggle systems, but if they are not provided or approved by the manufacture you can not use them in any tournaments.
Because that would make them modified from the original supplied system and contrary to all the rule books.

I think people are aware of the dangers if a strap breaks in game and if someone changed theirs I am sure they would check and then double check to make sure it is ok.
Personally I don't give a monkeys about straps/ear pieces as long as they do the job, trouble is if an accident did happen you know what insurance companies are like - if they can find a reason not to pay out, they wont.

I have fitted the Cash/ Money JT to my Grills and it fits fine, actually tighter than the stock which i prefer.
Cut the original strap out of the grills and slot the JT one in, the ends are thicker and will stay in place with out stitching. I paly SPL Millenniums and have not had any problems with the modification rule (Yet.)
