space is the most perfect vacuum that exists. not the whole of it. obviously there is a **** load of stuff out there. but you also have to consider tha vastness of the universe..space is not a vacuum......... a vacuum is a volume of space that is essentially empty of matter, space has tons of **** and stuff in it
Space, whilst not populated by any particles of matter is awash with radiation; and so, theoretically, if you were to build an extremely thick lead container in space that shielded it from such radiation, would this then not be a better vacuum than space itself?
