Get a PMR, Used you can get one for £210-£230 with upgrades.

I just bought a PMR, Almost new with UL trigger for £200(Cheers Yay4sebbe )

Only need a back cap for it now, that's basically the only thing you need to change.. And if you want, a new barrel, ASA and anything else you want..


I'll be getting a Gold and black with a few white laces annoed on the marker. The joys of having a nice gun.

Goes back to the day when paintball guns were made. A man originally made it to mark trees, then someone or other must have got an idea to start the game. That's why some call it a "Marker" because it's to "Mark" other people

tbh i would out of 6the ion and pmr get a pmr from sloth for £270 and then you get a ultralight frame for £20 because a pmr is 250 and u end up saving like a hundred quid but that is brand new second hand i dont really now prices.

You will get a lot of recomendations on here, so best to consider a budget for buying the items you will need to 'walk-on' and play.

Marker - Ion (£100 used?)
Hopper - Anything that is not gravity fed (Egg?) (£25 used)
Air - Cheapest out their is a PMI 3000psi 0.8litre ally bottle, good for about 500 shots each fill. (£40 used?)
Mask - (£25 used)
Battle pack - (£12 used)
Pots - (£1.50 each)
Squeegee (£4)
Barrel Sock (£5)

Total outlay if all bought used from PGI classifieds... about £200-ish..

Other than paint I think that is all you'd NEED to go play.

With this equipment you should get quite near the 15bps max rate of fire all sites and tourneys should be enforcing.

We all would recomend gloves, trousers, jerseys, head protectors, bottle cover etc, and of course much better much more expensive equipment, but depending on your budget you may want to play for a while first and then buy/upgrade as you get more into it.
