Well Rosie, you have always been a bit of an exception to the stereotype and you definitely ain't no limp wristed, lefty, tree huggin whatever ...but you are still hostage to a million years (give or take) of evolution that has robbed you of sufficient levels of testosterone to enable certain skills in your life as you grow up.
There's some interesting research being done that has shown a connection with testosterone levels in the foetus with the ability to read maps and also spatial awareness.
It makes interesting reading, especially for sexist pigs like me..oink, oink !
Fair enough, no argument with any of that.
I thought for a moment you'd made up the study, but no,

Interesting though that you say I'm an exception to the rule, as in that article it talks about ring finger length- my ring fingers're much longer than my index finger.
How the hell can you rebut Darwin is what I say?
Well the only other (slightly) sensible argument is creationism (I say sensible compared to other things such as theories about aliens, clams, and other bizarre stuff), but that really doesn't cut the mustard. I highly doubt God buried the dinosaurs 'just to test us'
. I don't think anyone's attempting to refute Darwin or saying we have the same amount of testosterone (heaven forbid, if women had the same amount as you guys or this would be hot stuff

Errr...yeah, I'm not refuting that we're different, but that doesn't mean you have to tell me to go 'back to the facking kitchen'
, because that's just offensive and frankly silly, like telling you to get down the mines 'cos you're a big bloke and that's all you're good for.
Why shouldn't women be allowed to play again? Because they aren't good at it? Because I've seen a lot of male players who are equally bad, some a lot more genetically disadvantaged than women supposedly are..!

Reminds me of the class wars

I know people who were told their only future after school was to go & work in the local box factory or frozen chicken factory. A lot of their classmates did that, dropped out of school and are working there now. It IS the easy way to go, but they could easily do better right? One got picked up and has been working as a Ferrarri mechanic since 16, a couple carried on and went to college, some went to uni.
If you and other people'd kept to those stereotypes, and you'd not pushed yourself (knowing your background), you wouldn't be where you were today, right?
You went and pushed yourself and got a degree (albeit later on) and generally did well for yourself in life- you seem to think that by definition women are born disadvantaged (as possibly you were compared to some others?), well, why do you think it's best for them not to better themselves, as you seem to have?
I don't actually know where I'm going with this because it's rather late
, so, I'll leave it at that.
