help please with computer

i downloaded the latest free MSN messenger

now every time i open a new window an annoyin pop up appear even tho i have a pop up blocker on

i uninstalled it and assumed it wud go away but its still there

any help?

is it the annoying world of warcraft one?

As it only occurs when you put your mouse over the adverts that appear at the bottom of the, "Friends List" window. (auto pop up out of the pop up blockers control ... stupid i know)

If its not that then ... its likely just to come up for like a month or so then change or go away.

If thats not the case then I don't know.

It could be the windows live news. Somewhere in the msn options is a way to disable it, or there used to be. Mine hasn't done that for ages. But like Tom said it could be the ad at the bottom and its not always World of Warcraft for example atr the moment mine is capital one.

nah different adverts sometimes used more than once

this happened to me last time and got rid of it when i re installed my computer last month and now that i download msn messenger its done it again

is there a way i can block these adverts one by one ?

reset your computer to the time before you installed msn messenger, before you do though back up any importaint work done

go into control pannel it should have an option backup and restore

click the restore to previous setting and itl come up with a calender type thing pick at date and it will do the rest for you.
