Yeah but how about the people that are earning half the average wage ?
People in the US are the same, some earn half the average, some earn way more, it's an average.

The UK minimum wage is £5.15, the US average (it differs from state to state) is $7, so even the lowest earners in the UK are earning far more than their US counterparts.

Paintball really isn't that expensive, you could pick up a second hand tourney-ready setup for about £250, you've got entry costs and travel, but in the scale of things we're not talking 5 figures a year.

I only play the odd walk-on now and then nowadays, drinking and drugs, now there's an expensive hobby.

Paintball's cheap as chips. You should try offshore powerboat racing.

Anyway, enough about my weekends. If you weren't all such gear whores it's not that dear. A decent set-up and cost of playing is a lot less than golf.

The other benefit of golf of course, is that you limited to a maximum of 3 other w*nkers to play against.

Eh? Doubt it mate. Green fees for a serious golfer are obscene.

Plus there's the clothes. They don't come cheap.
I used to belong to the best golf course in wales, and the yearly subscription was expensive but if you addup training 3 times a month and playing once a month, paintball would take over.

What a load of cack. A decent set off clubs costs a lot more than a top of the range tournament iron. Add driver, gear, membership etc etc and it's way more.

And anyway Mikey you forget, I have played Paintball seriously. At level you can only lie in bed at night making crusty sheets dreaming about.

Im not arguing the setup costs are higher in golf but to play week in week out paintball wins.

Im talking without sponsorship here
