here is another example
http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=87144 this gun is diving £200 below and will probably go for less.Used twice its mad, a loss of about 25%.
also interesting that dye are "giving away" ultralite frames with the pmr, they are not doing that because they are good people simple thing is they probably have a warehouses full of them, suddenly from about £100 as an upgrade down to £20 if you buy it with the gun, that would really hack me off if I had brought one a week ago.
simple fact loads of guns around, new and used and not enough players to shoot them.
Thats Proto. Same company I know, but look at what they do year after year.
Proto +1 arrives and retails at £710 upon release. give it 6-8 weeks and retail drops to £475.
did the same last year, the year before, and surprise surprise this year as well. I find that kind of annoying as the DM +1 holds its price until the next model is released. now the marker you pay £710 for at the start of the year, will automatically lose a third, then when the price drops in the shops it will lose another third.
Look at the price of Pm6's now, around the £200 mark if they are standard. Dm6 for £300??
search up some of the older threads on this subject and look at people talking about buying Impulses and Angel LCD's for £300 and thinking that they are ridiculously cheap. Shiny toy syndrome has always been the bane of the second hand market, and will continue to be!!!
Moral of the story?? Trying to sell your marker? Unless it is rare or special, if someone makes ou even a half sensible offer bite their arm off for it, unless you want it to lose another £50 - £100 by next week
