Hmmmm, let me think.....the possibilities are:-

a) Your neighbour is sooo delicate that they bother to come round and complain, and as you put it, 'spoil your fun', when in fact, your shooting indulgence isn't that intrusive at all or

b) You have an inflated opinion of your 'own fun' importance and your neighbor actually had a legitimate complaint.

I know what I reckon it is after reading the tone of your post and just in case you can't work out what I am suggesting...it's b)

and to add to that... if they wheren't a slightly polite/considerate neighbour, they'd just go straight to the police... and i think most of us know who we'd prefer to have knocking on our door asking us to sshhhhhh unless of course you live next to mr robbo

Personally mate, I'd do the same and tell you to leave it out. Ask yourself if you actually need to dry fire when you are practising snap shooting.

Well im gunna start using the fluffy n barrel sock when im firing inside but still your right me banging a nail in the wall to put a picture up would be a lot noisier.

You have a lot of pictures to put up

Seriously, if your gun has trainning mode , use it. If not, turn the dwell and pressure down , that way you wont use up so much air.

If my neighbour was dry firing their gun in their house, and it was my day off, no matter how much fun they were having or I was spoiling, I would kick off. Snap shooting can only be practised with air/paint and a target. I can't believe you think you are getting better using a sofa and a bang bang noise.

Treat others as you wish to be treated. Would you like it if your neighbour started chainsawing a tree down when you were having a lie in?

If you dont need to make noise then dont. As annoying as neighbours like that are, it's also really annoying to try and relax at home with lots of noise....like trying to sleep in on the weekend and the neighbours decide its the perfect morning to mow the grass or use some kind of noisy gardening device at 8 and occasionally do some drilling...
