I wasn't going to the clinic due to holidays already booked, however i would definitely have gone.

I think 200 quid is quite a reasonable price for what you would learn.

The flight alone for Ollie and Nicky would cost about $2500.

There is all the other costs to consider like accommodation, transport and green fees.

At my local site, they have small tournaments which cost 15 quid for each player and this includes everything needed.
Even then, there are only about 4 teams that come along.

In my opinion, players cant be bothered with paying for a decent weekend of balling where they might learn something because they have to travel a little bit. Ollie and Nicky would collect about 30 hours of airtime over the weekend. This is evident in things like the Millennium Series aswell, at Campaign Cup, there are a great lack of British clubs because it costs a bit and people have to travel.

you have no idea what you're talking about pal, so jsut pipe down.
don't forget, Cuba was coming too, so ollie wouldn't cream off all the cash, even if it were the case that the pros take the majority of the money.
What costs cash is flights accommodation, spending money, taxis, and of course their wages. lang earns $100,000 a year quoted in the press. he isnt going to give up 3 days of his life for gratis is he ? to suggest otherwise is patently moronic

dont like the price? dont go. no need to badmouth it on the forums.

noone was getting raped, and lots of people who actually have attended the pro clinics in the past have stated its one of their best paintball experiences, and well worth spending out for.

i know for a fact the dynasty clinic was the most positive weekend i ever spent playing paintball and made me a much better player.
I am not bad mouthing anything, just offering a stand point as to why it has not attracted the required number of heads. Clearly the quality of coach is not the issue.

It does not need anyone to point out it costs too much. The number of willing players does that more than any post on a forum.

I am sure I could find flights cheaper, but then again are the attendees paying for bussiness class flights and a four star hotel?

you're second paragraph is correct. However, if that is the case, why feel the need to chip in with the bs you spouted about getting bent over?
Doesn't help anyone does it?

If I am honest, it was to add a little flair to the post.

If it gets you off your milk crate I will retract my comment.
There was no flair, flair is derived from doing something with panache, accuracy, and skill. Your post lacked any evidence of any of these.

However, dont feel the need to retract your statement just because I took exception to it. Stick to your convictions, as innacurate as they may be :)

The very same people who wont travel to a free clinic, not least a "paid for" clinic are those which mostly frequent the classifieds in search of that must have goggle part / barrel / headband. We all know that looking good makes you play better right?
Nail on the head there Ian. £200 is a just price for what you are ultimately getting. The money is put into something that wont go out of fashon/ date and certainly wont loose market value as the next evolution of it is released. When held up against 70quid retro straps and £90 playing pants as far as im concerned its a perfectly fair figure.
