Track shoes will work great but you have to make sure you get ones with the quick-fit system. The threaded verisions dont fit the golf cleats with threads, lots of us were having problems with trying to get the cleats to fit in our running shoes.

the cricket trainers threads are compatable with golf cleats, and you can pick em up from 20 pound to 100 if you wanna be flash..

do shops like jjb etc do cricket cleats? any one know where i can get some?

The big JJB and Sport worlds do but are limited.

I used blades for the 1st event and they were ok but by the 2nd event they turf was soooo slippery due to them not cleaning it in between events.

Golf shoes or cricket cleats are the only way forward mate. I got some Nikes from here.

Dont try and play in astros or blades cos you will regrete it. Golf shoes and Cricket cleats will still work if the MS use the grass instead of the Green grocer material we have used for the last two events.

Stiff sole and no nose cap.
