saying about the critical terror level, at work today we had a memo come round bout it!!! several hours later this massive alarm goes off in the shopping centre i work at and some security guy shouts this is not a drill so we all had to get our customers out(3 memebers of staff) and wait, we are positive it was a bomb scare, it seems it is spreading

couple of simple little things (no actual explosions) and the country crumbles under the weight of our fears. they never actually need to set off a bomb cause just make it look like you've got one and people will believe you have and close shop for the day. bloody terrorists.

that is the whole idea of terrorism though mate, terrorism does not aim to kill large numbers of people it is simply used to cause Terror and panic, so the country crumbles from within, and to a point that is what is happening. i mean that thing that happened at work didnt really bother me it just meant i went home 10 mins late!!

i mean be honest do you look at people more suspicously now??

noting your location i think your reading to much into the scottish bit, brown has only been in power a couple of days and whoever is repsonsible is trying to test his resolve etc

I thought that was likely, Just because there's a new priminister doesn't mean the problem is gone.

i cant forsee the problem going within the next half a century, if global warming doesnt kill us all before that!!! Britain has let to many foreigners with malicious intent in, there needs to be stricter control on immigration (sp?)

Not really, you eventually get used to dodging bullets while leaving the bin out for collection.

Only joking, but bear in mind that for me to see a brick of squaddies and various armoured vehicles in the main street of town was totally normal. and we are talking full armoured vehicles with camo clad, faces painted military personnel walking past Woolworths front door.

These days it has been massively scaled down, but military helicopters are still very active and very much the norm for us.

conspiracy theory or not, bomb attacks sucesfully averted in london, failed bombing in glasgow airport, controled explosion in ibiza and now another controlled explosion at the ra hospital in paisley, where the burned bomber ******* is being treated, our country is under attack from within and without, and yes, i do look at people differently after all this, i dont wanna b there when sumone cries muhammad jihad

yeah i know what both you guys mean although i obviously cant relate to it! at the end of the day these are the times we face and know one really has the power to stop it any time soon, just have to be vigilant and up to a point not in the wrong place at the wrong time, makes you feel very mortal
