DM7 or EGO 07 ?????

right guys and girls im afraid im confused as hell lol

my problem is i dont have a clue whether to buy a DM7 or a EGO 07, both are similar prices ish i believe lol and both have similar plus points, light fast accurate.

iv shot a DM6 and loved it so much and also have shot EGO 06's and loved them aswel but i dont know the 7 series are going to handle slightly differrently and i dont want to screw up my decision but i want the perfect marker even though either will be amazing for me.

any points major pros or cons for them would be massively appreciated thanks alot.

anything else you can say will be superb aswel provided its nice and positive and not a total thread jack lol

Its personal preference. How is someone else going to tell you what gun you like the best? Which felt best in your hands? Which marker became an extension of yourself? Just try both.

Dont listen to anyone on here as they will say either one or the other depending on what they shoot. Only serious Gun Whores have had or have both! (Lump for one)
Best advice, go to a tourney and ask to try if you see one. People will be happy to let you.
If you are around the NSPL anytime you are welcome to try my EGO7.

I personally would go for an ego, but that's mainly because if I f*ck it up by screwing through the solenoid mad it's only a short ride away to Planet for a new shiny one.

If you can though, try them both out and see which one you prefer.

I would say ego, i am a total convert and was previously shooting SP markers. But the service and customer care of planet just cant be beaten and im sorry thats fact. I have not shot either marker so can only go on my experiences with eclipse and from what i have heard.
Aside from that, planet are british and its good to support a british company in an american dominated retail market.

I have no knowledge of EGO's so excuse my ignorance but

a) why would anyone go near a solenoid?
b) is it easy to put a screw through it? Is it a poor design?

i have owned a dm7 since some point last week, and an ego7 since jan... and honestly, im rather impressed with the dm7.

still like the ego, and it has obvious upsides like the larger stock barrel, lcd display... etc but i just found the dm7 to be quicker and comfier for my lanky hands.

as already mentioned... try both before you buy ideally or try markers from both families to get a bland idea
