I spent 2 hours lastnight completely stripping , cleaning ,changing all the orings , put new BumpPB LPR and HPR pistons in my sl66.

Every is fine, except when i place the cure bolt with the new o'rings on , "into the marker" , it was a struggle to get in.

I have dry fired a few hundred shots, but the first couple of shots i fire , the bolt sticks badly. Still does this when left for several seconds.

Before anyone asks, yes i have used the correct size from the ego 06 maintenance kit. Have changed almost everything from the kit to make it as new internally.

Do i really need to wear in the new orings ? is this normal ?

The 06 Ego does not come with a cure bolt so I would suspect you have the wrong size o'rings on there. The circumference may be the same, but as I always tell the girl's, 'its all about the girth.';)

Yes but, the cure bolt does fit the ego 06, so i assumed it would be the same o'rings. or am i mistaken:confused:

Cant seem to find oring size chart for the cure bolt anywhere.

Cant really see it being any other size other than a 015.

wondering more myself what the point in changing the bolt orings were anyway?

also worth checking is the rammer orings, just incase you used the wrong ones. to rule this out, put a non cure bolt in, see if you get the bolt stick

he has an sl66, which depending on when you bought it comes stock with a sl cure bolt, or you could trade in your stock sl bolt for the sl cure bolt.

He's all sorted now ;)

There's no need to change your Cure bolt o-rings as they are not used as sealing o-rings, merely to relieve stress on the paintballs in the stack waiting to be shot....

But having purchased an 06 spares kit. (which would be the required kit for an SL66) It would be fair to assume that it would not have cure bolt o'rings. I should have worded differently.

Thanks for that Ian:)
