Well if it lashes it down, Vermuelen first, without a shadow of a doubt. I would say closely followed by Rossi then Stoner but in the wet nobody in the world can touch Vermuelen and Suzuki have got their act together with their bike. Honda however have let Hayden down big time. Kawasaki have impressed me this year and Randy de Puniet has come through
Stoner will win the championship his bike is the fastest by far and there is more fast tracks than there is technical ones despite in my humble opinion Rossi being the best rider his bike cant touch the pace of the ducati

Casey Stoner FTW! with The Doctor 2nd :D

i grew up on crosser's moto x. cr80 yamaha, then turned to track, raced apprillia rs 250, virgin r6,
im 18 standard licence, restricted to 33bhp, but my road kr1s has 65bhp:D,
(on A roads) piss all over 400's and easily keep up or even beat most 600's. depends on rider of course but with a 2-stroke, summer, good breakfest, cant get much better.........

son to be on either a zx6 rr (04) as i love them, beast of kawasaki's before they tamed them, or a new r6 cuz they're nice and small.

Cheers guys, this is what I love about bikes. It's one great big extended family that you just don't get with cars and for that very reason I am not interested in driving, despite being 32!!! And yes I have started late in life with bikes, but don't worry guys I am under no illusions as to my experience and will only move up when I am genuinely ready to. As for the noise on the big day, I have got pissed off with my cousin phoning me from Redgate or Foggy's Esses as they raced by,so this year the soon to be ex wife kindly got me my first ticket and spending money, Rossi gear here we come!!!!
We are a different breed altogether. Very sociable pastime indeed.

Track days if you can get to them, will help you no end in learning bike control and if the worst should happen you have some nice big soft gravel areas to thump into instead of walls, car and trees.

If you ever want to see a real bike racing experience, get yourself to the Isle of Man TT or the Northwest 200 in Northern Ireland. 200Mph on public roads..........

whoah yes please.......

Agreed even though I am a Rossi fan. Still you should never write the Doctor off:) Rossi has gone on record saying he has never raced against a bike as fast as this year's Ducati, but he is the master of mind games with the other riders, look how he got to Pedrosa just by calling him "the little guy" in pre season testing.

Tinkering ain’t easy
Gotta agree done 1 track day previously and it was a great experience. As for first bikes there are some good 600cc ones out there, something like a Fazer 600 wiould be a good bike, good handling, decent speed and great brakes they are also workhorse bikes and very rarely will something go wrong (You can also pick them up for quite cheap now!)

Get some decent experinece though before jumping onto a speed machine, totally different ride altogether ;)

Id say Rossi for the title, Stoner's bike is a hell of a lot faster on the straights but Rossi is all about adaptation and I still think he has enough to take it :D

Dunno if this against forum rules, but which dealership do you work for? As for the pit passes, I am gonna do the whole shebang next year. Day of Champions and everything, although I am not gonna wave at any fecker and then be forced to realise that I have just bid on an ex GP bike!!!

On a funny note, my kids are Rossi fans too, and when I got all giddy the other day I had to explain to my 7 year old lad that if Rossi wins, I might be able to run onto the track and touch him or his bike if he has slowed down enough!!! His response?...... "but Dad, why would you want to touch a man?"!!!! Bloody kids eh, then the cheeky little get asked me for some Rossi gear.

Did anyone see yesterday's WSB when Bayliss let the fans sit on his bike when he was doing his lap of honour after his race 2 win? Bet Ducati weren't happy about that.
