i have owned 11 IONs and never had a problem, upgraded them and they shoot better than most ego's and shockers, though i still have a shocker NXT
Step up from a fully upped ion?

sold 3 to mates after upping them, broke 4 into parts, made a custom one but never used it, sold the parts, bought one for my brother as his gun broke, bought one for cheap from USA and finally sold an ION that i wasnt using as im at uni now. So 11. Not got one at the moment thought, was considering upping it from parts from my store, but it means buying one. Also owned 8 shockers, 1 nxt, 1 ND, 1 06, 4 05's. Secret gun whore

I have 2 heavily upped ions and (touch wood) neither has given me a problem so far..
I also have plenty of other high end gats sitting here, Egos, A1, DMs etc
Any modern well setup paintgun is light, fast, concistent and accurate when you shoot good paint.
But the Ion has the least recoil and noise out of the lot of them, it feels like its making the least fuss to fire the ball.
So for that fairly minor reason, the Ions are what I take to the field, egos etc get left at home in bits.

haha, thanks every one, erm, i dunno, i love ions, and i love mine, but im a gun whore waiting for money, im gonna keep my ion, no doubt, but i think they feel like toys, they feel too plastic, iv played with a timmy and love em, and an ego and they all feel like real markers, even ho i like the look of the ion, and the cocker,
and btw i know what you mean pyro, but you have to start off some where, and you cant learnt from a book, then buy a cocker

if you can lay your hands on one now get a lucky 5.1 body and internals gets rid of the plastic...
