15.02 Players start the games inside the playing field boundaries with the muzzle (tip) of their barrels touching the front of the flag station. Any player whose muzzle is not touching the front of the flag station at the moment the game starts, will be eliminated for a false start.



HOWEVER...

i can find it stating anywhere that the player (without a gun) has to start at the start gate....

If we're going to get picky about the rule book, what about the fact that footwear is not included on the permitted equipment list? Are we supposed to play in bare feet?

Of course not, somethings are taken for granted. Otherwise, the rule book would be a weighty volume indeed and no one would understand it.

i dont think it matters whether is touching tbh...

as long as its not pointing right down the lane your about to shoot :p ie behind you and pointing at the start gate and within a decent distance of it, :p
