Looking to pick up a second air tank due to the whole stako thing. Tanks I've been looking at are:

Dye throttle - Supposed to be good heard that the threads can strip easily, not idea if thats true (tis why i'm asking :))

DXS - New system, know nothing about it.

Crossfire - Great but hate the huge dial guage and my last one was long (compared to a PMI fibre wrap)

Tank must be a 1.1 preset with good reliability. I'm going to by new, its realy not worth it with HPA. Any one have any recomendations on reliability size, length and weight.

Cheers.

Wot's wrong with a good old PMI HP ..they're the nuts..and you can just change the gauge on a crossfire ,but they are longer tanks ,Buy a Myth reg and stick it on any tank mate thats the setup im running just now (stako) and no drop off at all at 20+Bps .

Dye Throttles are great,

No shootdown at 20+ cps

Always works fine, no leaks or anything silly.

Quite light as presets go.

I think your getting soft mate, ego7 with a stako and myth reg :p:D (EDIT - Don't you find that to be a too short a setup?) I forgot about the good old pmi, was just looking out for some different options.

It is quite short actually and may of been responsible for me 'flapping' my elbows when running and gunning at the PA (as was described to me by my loyal teammates)..However.. It helps me float to the deadbox with ease ;).I fancied trying to see how light a setup I could get as there is nothing to improve on an 07 Ego so I cant spend money on that ..
