ok well ive owned alot of tourny style guns with ramping and watnot but until now i haven'y owned a mil.sim marker. im looking for a nice realistic looking marker (mechanical only). looking at tippmann, bt and the likes. im not after spyder clones or anything like that.. ive seen some nice gats at big game which look ALOT like real m4's all cammo'd up but dunno who makes them or wat they are called. basically after peoples favourites and recommendations for my 1st mil.sim gat :)

any other kit which is required for an uber mil.sim player advice also much appreciated. thnx

couple of questions also.

please forgive my stupidity as i just wanna make sure im right here.

when using a remote hose with co2 and then switching to air, u dont need to change the hose? i.e. own 2 hoses . 1 for air , 1 for co2

tippmann markers and the like (mech gats) are ok running on air. i dont see why there would be a problem but u never know :)

thnx very much :)

Looking for a team.
with the question about co2 or air hoses...you need to use a high strength remote hose if your running zir as the others will just rupture due to pressure....armotech(sp) make a good quality remote air hose....

as to the marker....there are hundreds out there....the base sp8, there are the obvious spyders or there are the guys at http://www.bzpaintball.co.uk/

hope that helps somewhat.

the A5 is a good mech gun. as for remote lines, same line for air and CO2

You can use the same hose on CO2 and air, as the pressure from an air bottle is regulated to 800 - 850psi (hp), and 400 - 450psi (lp). Depending on ambient temperature a CO2 bottle will have anything from 800 - 1200psi on its output.

Dave i cant believe your quiting tourni ball:eek: anyway, i'd get an SP8 or an X7 if i was you even though you said no electronics. But this is my opinion.

I've heard that the Armotech guns arnt that good but they may be worth looking into. Even a Tippmann 98 is good, there very upgradable and easy to use.

Hope thats helps:D

P.s. Dave i can hook you up with the Warped Mercs if you want mate. There a good scenario team that are just out there too have fun. Talk to me on msn when your on then.
