please robbo become prime minister then paintball can become part of school curriculum. I think a good idea would be to somehow show the world tournament paintball (tv broadcasting best bet) doesent seem likes its gonna happen for a while but would be great if it did as at the moment whenever you tell most people your in to paintball they take it as recball and running round the woods in overalls

ONE SET OF RULES WORLDWIDE WOULD ALSO BE A BIG HELP. I know that from my point of view anyhow, it's a pain in the arse with all the different formats. All the movers and shakers in the tournament paintball industry are all for one rulebook, so long as it's their rulebook. The various rules commitees all need to get together one way or another, take all the good common sense workable rules and put them all together. Not rocket science really.

different people want to play different formats, to have just one format would reduce the number of tourney players even more no?
just noticed this ...

to be fair it would and it would'nt as it would bring in the people that like that format plus it would make people stay in the sport just for the love of the game. Its a double edged sword on one hand it might help the average joe bloggs get into the sport and understand it and on the other it might collapse the foundation of ballers we already have.

No Polly, you misunderstood mate. it's the only sport in the world with various rule formats. Rugby, football, tennis you name it, they all have one set of rules and regulations and one overall governing body. Then again you name me one country where paintball is an officially recognised sport.....nowhere
