yeah go for a mag realy easy to maintain just a couple of drops of oil in two holes and 20 dry shots and your done!

wouldnt buy one new though as they cost a bomb because there such good quality. buy a second hand one they'll last for years and years seriuosly. prob the only reg tested to 3000psi and such a good design over 10 years ago nothings changed! yet still comands such a price tag new. doesnt that speak for its self!! enough said

So, are you sure an A5 will be fine at punter days even though it has a feeder and such a relatively high ROF?

if ROF isn't important will an a5 with flat line barrel be much better than a 98 with a flat line barrel?

An A5s flatline is easier to clean whilst your at the field, compared to the 98s.

obviously you cant use an a5 response trigger but the cyclone system provides no real benefit, its ultimately how fast you pull the trigger that determines how quickly you fire.

i've got an old tippy98 i take on the rare occaision i go punter hunting now and its an arse as if i want to clean the bolt i have to undo the entire left side, unless i cut it in half to make it easier and quicker to strip and clean.

the a5 is a better option. but wont fare as well on walk-ons.

Go for a mag, ultra reliable, good rate of fire, easy maintenance, small, light and tight

or otherwise get a S/H cocker or a new cheap one as shown below.
The cocker has to be the most popular gun in the world, so you can't really go wrong

Spend around £30 and get yourself an Egg2 hopper off the forum, and other than your choice of gas type your sorted.

To be honest tho, for the amount of times you play, i'd just spend your money on paint, just my opinion tho

im with lucky cockers are cool, id avoid a5's just through personnel opinion of my own, if you want to clean a cocker bolt just pop it out, unlike a a5 or 98, paint on the rams and that at the front just use a cotton bud. cockers rule the woods for sure

dont buy a mongoose (or moongoose as they've been called in the past)

tippmann all the way. u can buy a standard 98c or a-5 then add ups to it as u want.. can make em look awesome. tippmanns and cockroaches will be the only things to survive a nuclear war!
get a remote hose for yer tippmann then get a nice nxe battlepack which can hold yer co2/air on the back. look the mutts nutts

cocker = autococker
trilogy is just the current model

I have an old automag and use a Jacko infinity barrel - always been fine, I'd take a mag over and old autococker any day as I feel they are a little more robust and easy to work on.

Check the forums (you'll have to go back a ways or use the search) as there were a couple of old mech markers around, don't know if they sold in the end but at least it would give you a starting point.
