What;s the benefit of a pump instead of a normal mechanical/electro marker?

One pump/one shot?
You have to pump/cock the gun after every shot. Using a pump builds skill and is more rewarding. It is much more rewarding in gogging someone who's using an NXT Shocker when your using a pump, rather than an electronic marker. Isn't that right Flint? :p

Using a pump makes your payload and costs (not capital) lower aswell. When i play pump, all i carry is 100 balls in my pocket and the gun itself. That's for a 2 way game. Because of this, the cost of paint is cheaper. Yay!

Never knock it untill you've tried it.

(You also get funny comments of newbie players:D )

Umm, it makes the game very different, less about fire power and more about skill.

Some would argue that they are more accurate, but i've never really bought into that.
agree on the accurate statement but does make the game more fun

used to play vs automags when they first arived on our shores and a phantom could still hold its own just

what you do find is a lot more movement with pumps

The only viable pump conversion is the autococker, as they started life as a pump in the first place.;)

you could convert others but it'd be a lot of work and you'd need a degree in engineering:rolleyes:

ok, how hard is it to attach the pump kit?

...does anyone know anywhere that sells new, cheap (less than £100) autocockers?

Answer 1 =Easy, Peasy!
Answer 2 =No Chance at all:eek: Hell if you find them that cheap then get 10 for me:rolleyes:
You may pick up a 2nd hand one for under £100, but no chance of a new one at all. If your after a cheap pump, give powerball a ring, i'm sure the base Stirling was something like £95, or post a wanted on here for a cheap pump. It's gonna be your safest bet, and pumps don't wear out like Electrics do, so if the gun looks good then it probably is:cool:
