Have to agree with james, that aint happenin by just a macroline,
that aint a macroline popped off, i've emptied tanks by taking the macroline off, thats doesnt happen.

i think maybe its something to do with the reg, and maybe its Co2

Yep, has to be a snapped reg - no way a blown line would be able to propel the entire setup around the field.

Just highlights the risks people take doing 'superman' dives while clutching 4500psi tanks, nutters.

the stakos had probs with the bottle its self, if you look at that vid, the air or co2 was commming out of the bottom as in the reg or asa, not the bottle its self

Sorry to burst any bubbles but I think that might be a CO2 tank. Expanding air doesn't look like that AFAIK and if an air tank managed to 'snap' at the reg/tank junction the result would be more like a bang than a rocket style whoosh, albeit a very loud and dangerous bang. I've seen a CO2 tank get unscrewed from its valve back in the days when safety bleed holes were a bit festive and it looked very similar, as well as breaking someone's wrist on the other side of the safe zone:(
